I'll dig up some pics later and post, but yes, I used the aircraft stripper on one side of my apex after trying to sand the other side off and teh aresol aircraft stripper is by far the easiest and best way to do this!
After doing it a couple times to get all the little areas removed, I simply used a Harbor Freight aluminum polishing kit (later learned of www.caswell.com) and it polished up great! I use Sled Brite and a detail cloth a couple times during the season, and thats it.
I'm going to try Zoopseal this summer and see how that works.
Its not hard, and can be done in a day after removing the seat, etc..
