My secondary gets stuck halfway when getting real hot after playing around in the deep snow pushing max with my 300 ponnies... whats the deal.. im leaning towards it dont glide easy on the axle when hot.. i just need to drive a bit where there is not so deep with snow and let it cool down and then it slides back...

But what to do.. it goes real easy when pushing for hand. and it only happens when excessive playing in the deep snow.

Maybee a bit of grinding on the axle? dont belive its the spring because it real hard to push it as now.

last time were like 40mil since, wondering about bushing, cant se that its the spring..then it would do it when col and warm? bushing perhaps... gonna try some cleaning and grinding first.

the question is how to solve it, i love boondocking

no one has a point, thinking on 70deg

I was watching a youtube video the other day and these guys that's all they did was boondock. What they did was cut a big hole in the plastic side panel in front of the clutch in the shock opening and put screen in there with 1/4" holes in it, also at the back of the panel. What this does is allow more air flow for clutch cooling. You would think that the clutch area would fill with snow but it doesn't. The screen will plug and then clear itself. He also said that it's hard to get enough air flow through there.

This use to happen to me on my sc attak and made me ruin a good few belts only had the problem playing in the deep snow. i tried a stiffer spring in the secondary it was a big improvement. whats good for racing is no good for in the deep snow maybe a shockwave helix would be a good investment for alround use i never tried them myself but i hear good things about them.
