Stud Pattern:4-2 pattern with Double Diggers or 3-3 pattern

What is your opinion for 144 studs down the center:

4 - 2 with double diggers or 3 - 3 single square backers?

I used the dd pattern and had great hook-up even with the 03 finger track.

I went with the 3 in a wave pattern.
