Whats the max stud lengtyh you can go and not cause any damage to the tunnel or ? I know the woody spec is 1.325's in a 1,25 ripper but I also know that that doesn't leave much for wear. In my 06 Fusion600 with the ripper I was able to run 1.450's with no tunnel or other issues. rr

1.325 Woody's Megabytes in mine work great.
Different stud manufacturers measure them different ways.
A Woody's 1.325 can equal someone elses 1.45.
Trust the manufacturer's recommendation.

Not sure if that is a question or a statement.
I will assume question since I see a question mark.
Lots of stud sticking out on a 1.325 Woody on a 1.25 Ripsaw. I would say about 3/8 of an inch.
Two years, some crappy conditions and they still hook up great. None bent or broken. 96 down the middle.
You can do a search and find pages of info on what people have used.

I run 1.450" Mack Studs 144 only up the middle, love them as they do offer a 5 yr. bend or break warranty too. A little under 1/2" of penetration.

Yes I do alot of trail riding and yes I have noticed that the studs have scratched the exhaust shield most likely during hard landings and or large moguls, other than that no problems. Their address is www.mackstud.com and they are located in Pelham NH. Good luck.ricerocket said:Blue oval, you trail ride? any problems with studs hitting Anywhere? Not sure what you mean by head diameter? Tip is 60 deg. carbide, 5/16 diam. I got the yellow anodized round backers, kit also contains support washers and tall nuts!ricerocket said:Blue oval, what is the head diameter?

The head is the part of the stud on the inside of the track. Woody's 7mm is a 7/8 head and their 5/16 is a 1 inch head.
