The Rage I just purchased has a 1.5 camoplast paddle that is awesome off trail and thru the fields but I have been chasing my buddies around on their quads down glazed over dirt roads. My question is this; I have a bunch of 1.325 megabites left over and was wondering if the paddles flex enough to expose those studs? Holding them next to the lugs they seem to just peek over. Your thoughts? I realize the penatration would be marginal but better than no studs at all I figure.............

Sounds like you answerd your own question there mighty. :o|

My thought?

The stud tips will probably flex before they'll bite enough to do any good?

I have the same situation with my 136"x14"x1.5" but I am going to live with it as I still get up the steep iced hills.

studs!

ha ha! thats funny!! I just did that to my sled!

144 with a 1.5 lug and 1.325studs!

It sure dont hook like a 1.450 would! but yes it helps a little on ice for safty,

I would compare it to a new ice claw track, it sticks on ice but when you give er it just spins

Thanks guys.
I just changed the oil in the sled and saw that the previous owner removed the front bulkhead protectors. I'm guessing for clearance for the 1.5 paddle. Does anyone know how the protectors were attached and if I can slip a set back up there with the track on?

front protectors are welded on. You could tack some back on there, but you'll probably have to remove the track to do it.
