How are you guys studding tracks that have the ramps that the wheels ride on, can you put studs where the ramps are?

I have not a clue what your describe ?

You can put studs anywhere you want on a track. The question it what will happen if you do.
My guess is if you put them there, you will loose that 'quiet' part about the track and the idlers that will go over the studs will get torn up really fast. I know on my regular track the idlers get chewed up and im pretty sure its from the studs.
If it was me, and I had that track and absolutely had to have studs, I would take a razor and shape/shave down the rubber where the stud would end up sitting on the 'ramp' so it would be as flush with the track as it could be. Being careful not to cut the cords of the track.
If anyone else has studded their 'quiet' track, please speak up with your experiences.

yes you can. i worked a Cat shop and we did them all the time. They become semi quiet tracks then.

do you remember if anyone had a problem with their idlers gettin chewed up more than usual where they travel on the ramps with the studs?

No. The studs go in between ramps. When you tighten them down they will go below.

So eventhough the stud will go on the thickest part of the ramp, it will just squish the rubber enough?

The quiet track is a royal pain to stud! I studded my old cat track the same way I normally would stud a regular track. The downside is the heads of the studs will not equally suck them selves into the track.
