Hello,
I am new to yamaha I recently bought a 2007 yamaha phazer fx. With 1,000 original miles. There has been only a couple updates done to it. I've been thinking about putting studs in my track, because I seem to slide around a lot on icy trails. I was just wondering what has to be kept in mind when watching out for the heat exchanger? I don't know if there is a kit to put in, so it doesn't wreck the heat exchanger?

I put 96 studs up middle. Installed the yamaha tunnel protectors. Not a fun job .
