hey guys
I have a 2009 xtx. I have it in the garage to start tweaking on it and i noticed the rear suspension is like bottomed out. Is this normal in the summer? I know the ? Sounds dumb. If i grab the rear handle and pull up, it will spring up and then sag a few inches when i let go. But if i sit on it or push it down, the suspension will bottom but not rebound. Any ideas?

If your skis can't slide back they will almost hold the sled where it is. Also the sliders and track will bind on dry surfaces and wood or concrete floors

Not sure how your machine is stored, but for the suspension to behave properly ( and fully rebound), it has to be on a flat floor. Not on dollies. Even if the track is on the garage floor and the skis are on wheels it doesn't work. Just my 10 cents.
There is a chance the seal on the shock has gone over the summer. Usually its easy to see a shock that has expired due to oil leaking. If the shock is gone it will just compress and flatten out - no rebound. Better look into now while its warm. MS

When its on a dolly the rear suspension will do funny things. Especially if its closer to the front then the rear of the skid. Move the dolly to the rear and I bet its 100%
