Sunk it!

Cool vid man, besides the whole sinking thing

So any details on how the water removal went?

Stock track on that thing?, you should look into the cobra, iv had my attak like that a million times and its comes screaming out of the hole like that. I like to get the water right along the edge of the running board when carving, then just crunch it!

Thanks Man!

Stock track. Yea its a pain to get every single drip of water out but i had every wire connector unplugged, blew out, and then put dielectric grease in. For the motor i just changed the oil with filter, but i noticed that there was some water in there not much tho. the chaincase was full of water, i took the cover off and cleaned it throughly and put in new oil. Im still trying to get the bugs worked out of it right now i think there is some water in the gas but other than that it was worth it.

It just happened this sunday Haha

Thanks for the vid...sorry about the sinking of the SHIP, what a pain in the A$$ it must be to clean everything out! but I guess it's worth every penny for the RUSH...I always wanted to try this with mine but I just don't have the B@LL'S! :-o ;)!

I forgot to mention this earlier, I have fixed sunk 4 strokes like quads a few times, and the best way to get the water out of the oil is to run diesl in the crank case, turn the motor over without firing, then drain and repeat until the diesel coming out is clean. Otherwise, your oil will be at least a little milky for a long time.

Diesel as it is still a lubricant and it is not so viscous as to allow good cleaning and fast draining. One quad I had to do this for was an 06' kodiak 400

Also, if you ever slip the belt, ill save you the trouble where the water is coming in, its from behind the primary both through the coolant tube hole and by the reduction drive. Mine used to slip like crazy, but after I made a custom aluminum plate, now im laffing! Water through the vent slips nothing like from behinf the primary, I have solid walls of water falling over the front of the sled, and only sometimes will it just barely slip

I didnt forget, dont you worry, and I have a bunch of still shots of me on water. My desktop is pooched, wont work on my network, etc..., so I bought an external hard drive and I started transfering a few days ago, coming very soonn!!

o yea shes been running for a while now it only took two oil changes before all the water was out. Im doing circles now. Not just straight across and man what a adrenaline rush....

Been there, done that with my Apex. Flood waters, Fathers Day 2008 in about 3 1/2 feet of water. Got the belt wet and down it went. had no choice but to get it running and ride it 2 miles back to the trailer, but it came out of it with no glitches and runs just fine after draining and changing all the fliuds

Got any Pics of where you were running or while you were running?

Water through the vent or unknown?
