I have a 2011 apex XTX and put a set of super rats clutch weights with the O-P-O spring in the sled and it pulls great put I have lost my top end. I can make a hard run and 0-70 is great and starts to hit the wall at 75-80 and pulls the motor down to 9600 RPM. When I am pulling it is at 10200 RPM then drops.
Currently I have tried the 2.5 gram balls and 2.0 with no real noticeable difference in RPM. Still pulls the motor down on the long pulls. Not sure if I should try and go lighter or not.
When the stock weights are in the clutch I would see anywhere from 10200-10600 at times 10800 on hard packed.
The secondary is totally stock. Not sure what I should do I have a different helix I can try however was just wondering what others might think the stock weights are I think 84 grams total whereas the super rats are 68.5 grams total but able to shift the weight forward or down.
Sled is stock, the rider (me) is 320lbs with gear on. Other than that I am open to any and all advise.
And yes I know loss 100lbs and I’ll really fly.

I'm no clutching Guru but I would say that you may want to match up the secondary to the primary as far as a helix and spring.
Almost all the A/M clutch companys sell ther kits with both primary and secondary parts as a complete upgrade.
