Sounds like it has everything I would need to go with the system? I appreciate all the imput and even additional questions as questions also help me too. I like the sound of the Prologger but is it direct nobrainer hookup? I can handle most mechanical work but when it comes to wiring I'm an outright dud and liable to catch myself, my sled and my house on fire. Again, all imput greatly appreciated! Merry xmas and happy new year all!
You can accomplish the same result as the prologger with a few analog gauges. It is a very good unit, but i have never been a fan of the digital "number" displays. It is also what I can only describe as a bit "clunky" and not terribly astetically pleasing.
-just personal preference- it is a good unit, just not up my alley. I do believe it is a "plug and play" unit, so hook-up is fairly straightforward...

Thanks Moto. I kind of felt it looked a little off kilter and could not imagine how I could mount that thing besides under the seat somewhere to hide it!
Any recommendations on a possibly more cosmetically appropiate gauges/braket or ideally a kit that covers all I would need?

I would personally just go with a good 02 sensor (aem)and a boost gauge. You can buy a two pod setup from many places that will make a clean and simple look to it. (cr, timbersled, powderlites, etc, etc.)The prologger is a nice piece with alot of functions but to be honest is alittle overkill for the average guy and can be confusing to setup for even the experienced, i struggle at times to with it too especially on the nytro.

Yuo can pick up an AEM air/fuel, Boost guage, and mount for under $300. go to any performance shop and they will have it, if not they can get it pretty quick.

Thanks everyone. I'll go the individual guage route. Just to add I did not mean to knock the prologger, I'm just a little old school and still think fins on cars were great! 57 chevy is my idea of a beautiful car. If I could buy one new today I would!
