I HAVE A STOCK APEX RTX WITH A CLUTCH KIT AND 192 STUDS.
MY PRIMARY CLUTCH IS A LITTLE HOT BUT MY SECONDARY IS COLD.
I WONDER HOW I CAN IMPROVE MY CLUTCHING AND WHATS YOUR PERSONAL SETTING?

Try 6 washers(3 on each side) in the heel, leave the middle empty and try putting 1 washer in the tip. Use the tip weight to adjust your top end rpm. They usually run great from 10700-10900 on a long run with about 10400-10500 out of the hole.

Try backing off your secondary 10 degrees also like I did. This will let the sled upshift faster and might let the sled have a slightly higher top end. The primary clutch might also run cooler because it will be easier for it to shift the secondary open.

Thanks for the reply FOURLOAD!
Finally i finish with 8 washer in the heel, 0 in the middle, 1 in the tips.
Those 2 washer in the heel help me a lot with my start and cool down my primary clutch. I think those 2 washer was a must for my 192 studs and now my clutch kit really ROCK!. It goes rapidly at 10600 rpm and good back shifting on the trail.
But now i"m thinking to 40 bottom gear change with my primary machine!!!
I will love to pull my ski more in the air
