Hi guys, really stupid question here but does the Nytro have a wet clutch? I’m going to say no but want to make sure. I know it has a CVT clutch ( primary and secondary make it variable) but my arctic cat 400 also is cvt and it has wet clutch. Anyone that wants to explain further and expand it’s appreciated but my thinking on a wet clutch is basically that the clutch plates are lubed by the motor oil and a dry clutch, the clutch plates are dry. Does Nytro have clutch plates as well?

The only wet "clutch" is the one way starter clutch. Which is why it needs oil that meet the wet clutch spec.

Ok, yes the reason I had asked was because last oil change I had used Mobile 1 European blend, I believe 0w40 but I would have to look back at my notes to be sure of the grade. I should probably get that oil out of there then? I had put Kimpex 0w40 in my ATV because the oil specifically said it was wet clutch safe. If that works I will use that same oil for in the Nytro

Just look for spec JASO MA2 it is wet clutch spec. I don't know if Mobil 1 Euro meets that spec or not.

I use mobile 1 0-40 in my nytro for 13 years both euro and regular. You can’t kill these sleds with brand of oil. Only too much boost or loose oil thru filter hit or such.
