I have been reading this site for over a year and man you guys really know your stuff. I have a rx1 mountain with a 151 track and could not really compete with any 800. I put k&n and the heavy hitter combo on my sled and boy did this wake it up. In 2 feet of powder I am ahead of the summit 800 now. Now it's time to challenge the polaris 800. I want to put extroverts and a new track but are not sure if a stock 900 artic cat track would be a good idea as a buddy has a new one he took off. I also want to change the suspension to maybe a polaris as they seem to work awsome in the steep and deep compared to the pro action. Is this a good idea? What do you recommend ?

The A/C 900 tracks have a different window spacing, but I'm sure you can find extroverts to fit them. They are great tracks, and real light. I've been pitching the Holtz rear suspension today, but I think it is what you need. I think it is similar in design to a Polaris rear, but SUPER light (save you 35lbs), and great quality. Actually, all the two stroke mountain mods install it to save weight. The installation on a RX1 is a breeze and while you are drilling out rivets you can install an mpi or hartman tunnel extension to save another 5lbs. Throw in a lightweight battery and you will be climbing with any two stroke!

Read my entry listed under SUSPENSION on Jan. 29th. 151 RX1 Mountain rear skid changed to A/C mountain rear skid. I have explained in detail about the suspension I used and what is needed to be done to install it. It also includes photos. I hope this helps answer some of your questions. Good Luck and Enjoy! :) :) :)

Is this a complete suspension or just replacement lightweight parts? I have not seen this suspension, and where could a guy look at one? Thanks for the info guys.

The suspension I used is out of a 2003 A/C 900 Mountain Cat. It is the complete suspension. The only changes I made are the rear mounting brackets. It works very well and the approach angle is much improved.
