I have a 15 xtx with the 2.25 powerclaw and I bought a 1.6 cobra out of a 13 xf1100 snow pro it has 165 1.75 mega bytes... question is will I need tunnel protectors?

They should be in there already. SE had 1-1/4" tall protectors, and LE had 3/4" protectors. I am guessing yours is LE as it has 2.25 track. Take a look under and you will see them if they are there.I have a 15 xtx with the 2.25 powerclaw and I bought a 1.6 cobra out of a 13 xf1100 snow pro it has 165 1.75 mega bytes... question is will I need tunnel protectors?

I see an aluminum channel but I was thinking something is missing as those picks would quickly destroy the aluminum?

All that the protectors are is a square aluminum tube. One on each side of the tunnel close to the windows.
