Well, i took the t.o.r.s. switch off the sled and took it apart, and it looks completly spotless,i still gave it a thorough cleaning and put it back together and made sure my idle/slack was good and it still activates the sensor, nothing looks wrong with the switch it compresses and releases with the normal amount of springage, looks like new inside, connectors are all clean and shiny, what about where it runs to from the connectors along the frame and inside some plastic housing, could something be wrong in there where it runs from the connectors?to me the switching looks like new unless something is wrong with the wires but i cant seem to find any problems with the wiring/ or should i just get a new one and see if this fixes it? was hoping the cleaning method was the problem as they are like 200 from the dealership for a switch.
bypass it, runs great, hook it back up, activated does this more than likey mean the switch is gone somewhere in it since i plug the 2 connector wires that run from the frame in eachother and it runs fine?
do these machines have only one tors switch? its a 04 and i only see the one on the throttle body
