I have a pretty stock 08 MTX with a PC5, exhaust and Ulmer map. sled runs awesome but under wot it keeps bounding off of the rev limiter, cant tell either 9400 or 9500. This thing runs great but it keeping hitting the rev limiter. What do I need to do to get less rpms out of it, should I gear it down or what.

sounds like a question for the clutching gurus...I'm guessing you need to add some weight to the tip. Pm Turk or Ulmer

I agree with shadow, look at clutching before gearing.

You need to add heavier rivets to the primary weights to get rpm,s down to about 8800ish rpm.
Gearing it down will raise rpm,s even more. You absolutely need to add more mass to the primary.
