Time has come for all the part are in the mail for the beefy upgrade I am going to be doing to my turboed apex. I am taking this ex drag sled and turning it into a powder sled. Its got AD bovin expert X 121 suspension and thanks to muffin works the 144" extension might be here next week with a tunnel extension . Main question here is...with 9 tooth drivers what inch lug track can i fit? same with an 8 tooth driver. I have a track I picked up on the forums coming in the mail and I'd hate to have to shave down the 2" paddles on it. After the track is done I am going to put back on a factory reverse chain case (past owner went for straight hp and blew the chain apart so he put on forward only). How much of a headache is this going to be to put on reverse?

I can't hold back my excitement for how awesome I will be making this sled in the end :-o

chain case is usually just the lid and a different bottom gear.

What about putting the reverse gear in? Is the forward only chain case just a different lid compared to the reverse one?

I have stock 9t drivers and am running 1 1/2" track with no problems. I removed the tunnel protectors so no studs obviously. I left in the front protectors and my track is very close to them so I am really not sure about the 2" paddles.

I found this while browsing the forum

Hopefully it means the same for the apex rtx cause I also have 9t drivers in. Going to be an interesting powder sled, got part of the rear suspension out but I ran into a spinning bolt so I will have to use a vice grips. Chain case is also coming off tmr too.
:rocks:
