i stop by almost every week and sit on the black xtx on the show floor.

I have been doing the exact same thing all winter (if you can call this winter)! I was just in there last week sitting on it. I have thought about trading my '07 GT for it but I am waiting to see how low John will drop the price if it doesn't sell by spring. I figure that since it is the same color as my current sled my wife will never know the difference!

Me and you are alike. Ha. If my Attak wasn't such a fine machine..maybe I can park it somewere it would get stolen..On a street in Miami? I have theft insurance you know.

Went to waldoch sports after work an talked to jon about the xtx. 12200 is the best he can do for me on a 2012. Anyone heard any better price than that? Anybody know whats in store for 2013?

That white and orange 1100T looks pretty cool. If guys are interested in one I would wait least two years for them to get all the bugs worked out. I would never buy AC just can't trust their quailty, just like I can't trust Skidoo's motors. All manufacturers have issues I don't mind dealing with Yamaha's small ones.

I just bought some parts from a fellow who sold his Apex and bought a new Cat 1100 Turbo. He told me there are numerous problems with the machine. Fast as hell but lots of issues.

Finally got the sled apart. It wasn't the donuts that went bad. The muffler separated from the rear of the y pipes where it turns into 1 pipe...
Just weld it back together and put a put re-enforcement over the weld and it should be good. Did mine last year, 2000 mi on my repair and it is still good.

Not to tick off the loyal Yamaha guys, but you need to look at the 1200 Doo if you want a reliable, fun sled that will go mile after mile. The new Turbo Cat is fast as all get out, but not as good at handling and ride as the 1200 Doo. Left my turbo Cat home last week and took the 1200 to the UP, pure bliss to be back on the best four-stroke sled I have ever owned. The power of the Cat just doesn't make up for its other shortfalls.

I agree, my buddy has one of those, and really likes it. Handles well good power and ride. Doesn't have any skid issues.

Arctic Cat Recall

This is on the American Snowmobiler Magazine web site:
"Arctic Cat issues voluntary recall of 2012 models

Arctic Cat has voluntarily recalled 19,000 of its 2012 models due to a potential loss of steering control. "

I'd wait a year.
