Get yourself a normally closed Arctic Cat tether from HPE, Parts Unlimited or anywhere pretty much and then cut the brown or brown/white wire (either one) and connect one end to one side of the cut wire and the other end to the other side of the cut wire!

What would the normally open be used for? Strickly racing or something. I thought I read somewhere on here that for a trail sled you would want the open style. I could be wrong though. I am thinking of installing one of the red ones myself. So, for trail use, one would want a closed?

The normally open will not work on any of the new 4-stroke snowmobiles. They all must run a normally closed in order for them to work due to the ignition system, it doesn't matter if it's for trail or race use.
