where is the best place to install temp sending unit for an after market gage? my dummy light came on for temp twice today! first time in 2000 miles not to bad but it really was bugging me not knowing how hot it was. oh and any advice on what gage to get or a place to get a T for the coolant line would be great thank you

ok to me the best spot for the tee looks like right after the coolant tank before it goes into the heat exchanger would this be correct? or a better question is which way does the coolant flow into the rad from top or bottem?

Usually on cars they locate it right by the thermostat for most accurate engine temp.I think our is near there.Might want to get a T fitting and go there.

ok i got my glo shift digital gage installed today i used the 28mm glowshift water sender adapter to install the sending unit in the hose between the rad and oil tank every thing works great!!! the fan kicks on at 190 then cools it down to 174 and shuts off. btw the coolant flows into the top of the rad out the bottem across the motor into the heat exchanger then to the coolant tank and then back into the motor. i will let you guys know what temp the dummy light comes on. if i can get her to get hot only happend one time in 15 or so inches of fresh powder

Go to Ulmer Racing's website and download the instructions for the temp gauge. There is a pic of where to install it on the Phazer. I ordered my coolant adapter from him but installed a Glow Shift digital water temp gauge.
