Last weekend I lost my best friend to a tragic accident off the Haywire trail and 94 just south of Shingleton. I understand that the TY ride in was last weekend and that a number of riders had gone to the scene and said a prayer for my friend. I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this.
He loved to ride and I must have done between 50-60,000 miles of trail riding with him. I will miss him being on the trail and by my side riding up to the UP talking about where we are going to ride next or what our next adventure was going to be. He was my life long friend, my riding buddy, my best man, and he will be missed by family and friends but will never be forgotten. May God comfort him and give peace to his family and friends.
Thanks again to a great group of riders and fellow TY members!

We are so Sorry for your loss, and even more to his Family.
I can not imagine what it would be like to witness your Best Friend and Riding Buddy losing his life right in front of you!

Know that our Thoughts and Prayers will be with You and with his Family.
