I still have the bravo that I grew up riding. My dad restored it and gave it back to me last summer for my son to start riding. Nor snowbank, nor rolling, nor trees, nor other snowmobiles hitting me killed that thing. I tried - believe me - I tried.
How cool wouldn't it be to put a 4-stroke engine, maybe the Phazer 4-stroke, into this Bravo?? :-D Like the V-max 4 project on this site. I guess one should upgrade the suspension as well on this thing... Just a thought :-D
It worked in real life.. especially in the far north or snowy parts of Canada and Alaska, plus it always fit the family budget and could take you miles and back...LOL. We have even put a Bravo engine into a broken sled while stuck waiting for parts from the settlement.. they always handle better and better gas mileage cuz the engine is so light... LOL... and when the gearing is set, they can pull heavy sleds all day long. I have seen Bravos outpull more HP sleds.
