Are you saying remove all that AFTER you have a CAI?

Yes only remove if you have a CAI it’s the factory ducting to the airbox

Thats how I read it, so now that he posted pics I totally get it.

If that all can be removed, and bet its alot weight removed too...I would be all over that once Im running a CAI for good.

Diesel, did you find it helps? I removed mine after I installed my CAI (in March of this year after the snow was gone) but haven't rode with it like this, was thinking the same thing but wasn't certain it would help.

I think it would be just to save some weight correct?

It doesn't weigh much, I think it will help as it opens the vents more and opens up the area under the hood slightly.

Definitely won't hurt to remove if you have a CAI.

Idk if it helps but it can’t hurt there is no way to measure if it helps or not.

No sled here yet, so does it attach by bolts ect? No chopping or hacking correct?

If its a simple unbolt/unscrew it and remove, sure more room under hood helps air flow, and no need if we run CAI. Maybe some room for a spare belt clip too..lol

Yes just remove 7 screws
