He is complaining about handling, but I rode it and its better than it has been in a long time, I think its just sitting position so still looking for a taller seat. And he could use a big boy spring :)

Wide front end kits transform those sleds. Might have trouble finding one now. Probably wouldn't be that hard to make one

There used to be a local company that made the wide arm kits. I tried to get them to either make a set, sell me an old set, or give up/sell the jigs but the guy got rid of everything. This was before I sold the sled to my buddy. I think the sitting position is his bigger problem, I keep haranguing him to get a raised/firmer seat as he is happy with the apex power. He is a big guy and finds moving from sitting to standing to be a challenge when you are doing it all day. I told him to just stand and pin it but he is stubborn and just wants to sit. I end up trading him the winder when the trails get tough.. I started needling him about buying a good used viper. He doesn't want the power of a winder, just the ride.

Of all the upgrades I did to my 2005 RX-1, and there where many, that wide front end completely changed the way that sled went around corners. It is the #1 thing I would do to a Delta-Box chassis to make it better.
