I remember awhile back we were all wondering when or if, we were ever gonna get the infamous 50th Ball caps. And sure enough, outa the blue with no warning....I pull in today to see a large box on my porch, with a Yamaha label on it! Haha

I have to give it to them, this is a very high quality hat, and the backpack looks very nice, with a ton of pockets/sleeves ect to put stuff. All made by FXR so it's not junk. I am not the backpack type but anyone can see this is one nice piece.

Just thought i'd throw up some pics for those waiting....and I'm sure you will all be getting them soon! Maybe yammie wanted this to be their Xmas gift to us all...lol

Got my stuff on Saturday. Hat is sweet, backpack is as well but its made for smaller guys! With my riding gear on the lower strap is tight, just not gonna work for me. I even changed the metal buckle out with a plastic buckle for a little extra length and still not enough. I either need to go on a diet or give it to my son....can you say X-mas present? The diet thing is just not gonna work out.

I never do, and likely never will....so if you know anyone who wants this, PM me

Dan

nice stuff!

interested in the back pack if no one else wants it.

Haven’t gotten mine yet?? Picking up my sled in Caribou, ME a week from today. Dealer contacted me yesterday and said it’s good to go...and sent me a picture of it. Hoping I’ll have my 50th anniversary hat by then????

You should try out the pack Dan. I thought I would never wear a pack and then started wearing one for skiing out of bounds and I really didn't even feel it on after a short time. I wear one a lot now sledding and you will forget you have it on and the trash you put in it doesn't get beat around like it does stored in the rear of the sled.

I hear ya.....I guess when we do out touring/trips we normally base somewhere. Like last year was Mont Valin-Saguenay Qc. and we based there and just loop each day, always end up back at the hotel. So my LinQ setup and stock small bag on tunnel do very well for space.

But I agree if we do any touring that is more a saddlebag type trip over several days without base, then this backpack will be simply awesome. Looking it over, I am amazed how nice this is and how many pockets and sleeves it has. I know this season we are hoping to ride from my place in Huntsville/Muskoka area up through North bay as usually do, but this year would love to continue northeast into Qc from there, and up to Val-D'or Qc. Then base in Val-D'or for a few days and do day loops out of there, then westward over toward Kirkland lake and Then back south on the Ontario side of border, back thru NB and home. That has been something we always have wanted to do over a week or so, but weather never seems to be good enough over past 3 seasons or so.

I will definitely keep it if noone wants it, as I really like the look of this backpack. And its very high tech and light weight. I am heading north now so if anyone does want it, being in Ontario would be best as I wont be back to USA til spring. Anyone near Muskoka/Central Ontario let me know.

My box arrived yesterday but my family wrapped it and put it under the tree. So, I can't open until Monday. Thanks for the pics. I was curious what it looked like.

Any Canadians get there stuff yet? I got my hat months ago but still no pack.
