I just got mine installed last night. It's got a lot of bling value, which I like. Mine is a 6" riser with a 2.75" Apex adapter. Fit's inside the chrome ring thingee easily, which I did not even have to remove! Here's some pics.:

I think it look sweet on the Apex. And it matches the gas cap perfectly! I can see one of these in FrostyNutz's future for his 2011.....

;)! :bling :bling ;)!

Did you have to extend any cables and where do you find this riser?

I had earlier re-routed my cables. Was pretty simple. But no throttle or other cable extension needed, not even close.

Arteeex on this site makes them.

Hey Mike,

Just wondering if you would be able to tip back the riser a little more, similar to stock. The reason I ask is because when I saw your picture with the lake effect riser it was also vertical like this one. Is this due to personal preference or because it is the only way to make the cables work.

How tall are you if you don't mind me asking? Wondering about the riser height, would I be good with 8 total inches if I am about 6'1"?

Thanks again really considering a riser and I know you have two, just some final questions.

That's just my personal preference/ seating preference on the sled. Maybe not for everybody tho. But I could tilt them straight up parallel to the steering column and they'd fit or bend them back towrds me a fair degree -- for that low rider kinda feel.... ;)!

I think you can see in my pic above a good degree of slack in all of the cables. It's really all about intelligently re-routing them and running most cables under the bars, not over them as Yamaha did for every cable as I recall.

I am only 5' 11" tall, so my basketball prowess was hindered a bit, which is ok because I spend my winters sledding.

I like my handlebars this way because I stand a lot when riding and I'm used to riding off trails sleds, so I've always like higher handlebars I guess.
