thinking of selling 05 turboed rx1

i have a limited matte black 05 rx1 turboed by simons stage 1 ( 7- 11? or 8- 11 ?it could be 10or 10.5 on high) lbs of boost it has 2 or 3 year warrenty left on it, non slip drivers, wildchild forward steering post kit - litewieght upper & lower a-arms (brand new not on yet the a-arms that is ), simons boost guage & temp guage & ramair kit ,o2 sensor & guage , slydog skis , mtn mod highrise seat & tank cowl , fox floats up front ,mtn cat bars ,slydog skis, studded track , complete skid of billet wheels , heavier rearspring on rear ,sporttech handguards , its all black in color , runs mint ,fast, super clean , i think it has around 1800 miles i will check, i have all the stock stuff also so it could go in stock form except the turbo ( that stays on ) or in the mod form that its in now

so heres what i am woundering whats it worth 12,000.00 obo with everything ??? or less without the litewieght stuff

what do you guys think ??

stock stuff is front shocks, springs , skis , tankcowl ,seat is a 06 apex seat , handlebars complete, steeering post , exhaust better then stock modified from jeff simons for the turbo , skid wheels , drivers , rear spring for the skid

I am in the same boat as you man (might sell turbo sled) and unfortunetly you'll never sell it @12K. I think you might have luck around 8k. Sorry to bear the bad news.

I would think $8k it would sell very fast. $9.5k sounds more reasonalbe but I think you will need to be patient because most buyers aren't looking for a sled with that many MODS.

and the mods are just litewieght options that i can take them off and the 12000.00 was just going off what i see others going for 9000.00 to 13000.00 and seeing as mine still has warrenty and done right

i am open to reasonable offers 12000.00 was a starting point but 8 isnt a option

I'm not nuts-I am realistic. 8's for quick sale, could probably hold out for 9's.

NEVER going to get the amount of money back you spent on the mods plus the amount of the sled. Better off to put it back to stock to sell the sled and sell the mods seperately. Just my opinion.

I had $24,000 into mine and got $11000. From what I have seen $9000-$10000 would be more realistic for your sled. I know its not what you want to hear but just being a realist. I about cried selling mine for $11,000

Superbeast, they are telling you the truth. Most buyers do not want the mods, most riders with mods undersatnd that there is ALWAYS a loss with those changes, and with the setup you have most dealers WILL NOT HONOR any warranty coverage related to a turbo induced failure. Mid 9's is all your gonna do, even in peak season. Best of luck to ya.

You could get $15,000 if you parted it out IMO. Or sell it out right quick for $8 and hold it till mid season and get $10??
