I’v got a 14 mpi Ltx viper and I love sled but I want more. Iv ridden winders but they just seem like they are missing something over the viper. Is it possible to make the sidewinder sound like it has a turbo? I was thinking CAI, BOV, Shorty exhaust and a 275 flash might do the trick. Any opinions and idea? Thanks guys.

Oh you can definitely make it sound like it has a turbo. CAI makes a huge difference.

Throw cold air intake and BOV on and you will hear it.

Really like the sound of the CAI. You can barely hear the light whistle the Turbo creates at lower to mid speeds-not too loud, not too quiet.
You can also hear the some of the blow off valve noise back through the intake at lower speeds which sounds cool, but again, not overly loud. At higher speeds, all sounds normal, so none of it becomes annoying, imo.

I’m going to be honest I could have pure turbo whistle 24/7 and that wouldn’t be enough for me I love it!

You can use a BOV that vents out(not back into intake) and you will hear it bigtime. Tomcat sells them.
CAI will offer a fair amount of sound, but not much will be heard with lower HP tunes that dont make boost early. The Early spool tunes that are up/over 17psi will really make some sound, and its loudest when you WOT then throttle chop.

I’m running a stock muffler bundle with a CAI, TS bov and 3 bar sensor. I have a nice whistle. I have 6000 miles on my winder and love it! I would buy another without hesitation.

Do you have to change you’re tune with a TS bov? What exactly is a 3 bar sensor?
