I got a call from Jerry up at the Korner Keg saying that Sherri XXXX (works for Town of Springfield) saw 3 snowmobiles parked sideways along Hwy 12 where the trail crosses by the Missouri Tavern 1-21-10 at 4 p.m. She thought they needed help so she pulled her Mini Van up to them to ask if they were having trouble. She said they all jumped on their sleds and took off and the last one spun gravel all over the side of her van and broke a window on the passenger side. She was furious so she went down Kickaboo road and caught up to them over by Hwy P. She said the guy was driving a red and white snowmobile and she thought he had on a white helmet but wasn’t sure. He wouldn’t give her his name and took off again. She called and reported it to the police.

If anybody knows who this may have been please let us know. These are the kind of actions that give us all a bad name. Jerry said the kids were off school Thursday and I am betting these were some young kids that don’t know any better. Sherri’s phone # at the town hall is xxx-xxxx if you have any information for her.


This happen on the trail that Sara and I put in, all the hard work and now this, some of us try so hard for the sport to keep it going.
What the Hell...... I think in my life time you could see this sport come to a end if things don’t change. What can I do
To keep it going for my kids and their kids and all of you? Please tell me because I think I’m trying? I help in the
club, open my land up for snowmobiles about 1200 acres, I go out and mark trails and help in the grooming.
And now this crap !!!!
