throttle cable - '03

Just want to verify that the '05 RX Mountain cable is longer than the '03 shorty cable and that it will be a direct fit.

I know the '04 Mt. cable is a direct fit for my '04. Unless the throttle blocks are diff. it should fit.

ecopter - The '03 RX-1 Mountain throttle cable is only about 10 millimeter longer than stock '03 RX-1 throttle cable, same mounting at both ends, same free play. It will fit, a little longer cable will not be a problem.

Edited. I have used '03 mountain cable on 4 " bar riser, had to move throttle lever to the right tho, but tors did not kick in.

Cool, thanks. I only need about 2 millimeters more slack, so that will be perfect. My stock cable with the 2 inch riser slightly increase the RPM and occasionally sets of the TORS when turning to the right, so it sounds like the '05 mountain will be just what I need.

The 05 mountain cable is a few inches longer. Only the 05 is the extra long one. I just put one on my 03 shorty this summer. Direct replacement and costs about $20.00 right through Yammi.
