So I finally got to run my sled this past week. It was extremely cold - never saw a high above - 5F. Definitely needed my handlebar warmers and thumb throttle warmer. Handlebar warmers worked great. Thumb warmer was definitely working. Problem was this - they were stuck on high. I could drop the thumb warmer one bar, but that was it. It was extremely hot. Too hot.

What can I do to get that fixed?

The bars would no drop on the display or the heat would not drop?

Neither the bars nor the heat would drop. Stuck on high.

I did not try to unplug it. I didn't realize you could do that. Is there a pic of that connection or diagram any where?

I dont think so. Follow the wires down to the base of the riser. Pull the hood, both side panels, riser ring and then the panel the goes between the riser and gauge. Un plug 12v accessory and ignition and you should see a black rubber boot. All the connectors are in that big rubber boot that's held together with removable Yamaha Zip tied. If that does not fix it, I would guess the switch connection is stuck in the bar control.

That rocker switch might be dirty and not making good contact, Saw a post here where someone took the up/down rocker switch apart and cleaned the contacts due to your same problem.

Having a similar problem. My hand warmers are stuck on 80%. When I select handwarmer it switches to thumbwarmer when I move toggle switch. I'm thinking I need to unplug battery to see if computer will reboot.

I know the battery reset isn't my issue. Mine was doing it this fall. Then I realized my battery was weak, so I changed that out. No change to the thumb warmer.

Oh that’s good to know! That will save me a step. Sounds like I will check out the rocker switch.
