timber sled question

sure does not take long to destroy things when things are not right. Drive axle bearing on chain case side is bad, and drivers are not looking so good. Off to see what i can find.

so ice age got me the new stuff. what difference i was able to just slap the suspension in with out wrestling with it.

i had the yamaha dealer out here press on some wahl bros antislip drivers. Just to find out they are wrong. The drivers are hitting the clips as it comes around. i measured the drivers center to center and the surface where the track rides and it is almost 3 1/4 inches.

This has been a very frustrating year been fighting everything since go!!

now i have to take it back apart again

i'm sorry for your feeling ... In a certain way i can understand you

when i bought the rtx in november i was thinking that the sled would be ready before christmas.
Now it's just before easter and it's 98% of work.

i had some night in wich i was looking at thousand of euro of toys trying to understand papers of istructions written in a foreign language and asking myself why i ve not spent that money in a car or in a trip to usa with my wife or thousand of others tihings.

The answer, for me, is that there is nothing better than the sactisfation in finding a solution to a problem during the work on a project.
Ending with the pleasure to ride YOUR machine :jump:

P.S. Now i'm riding TS with rear shock at 100 psi and front at 75 psi, 3rd hole on strap, no shims and 230 hp ... Well, always skis to the sky and (unbelivable) no bottoming.

i had the wahl bros on my vector with no problem. I would have gone with avids but i was in a time crunch and wanted to change out the stock ones and the only thing around me was the wahl bros.
if i would have known that they were cast incorrectly i would have just kept the stock ones on.

can anyone tell me if the drive axle it self has timing marks if you will that the drivers are suppose to align to??

got that the drivers have marks to align driver to driver and that is correct. the problem i am seeing is that the driver is not driving the the clip or the cog. but insteaad is riding to the back of the hole and inturn when the driver comes around it is hitting the clip behind it.

i am confused

Are you saying that the driver is in the back of the window instead of the front of the window? if this is the case im thinking its just because you havent put the tension on the track that the snow causes which would then make the drivers move to the front of the window
