to much ski pressure after dial in

That will make the steering effort much higher. The guy is going thw right way but he feels there is still too much ski pressure. This has nothing to do with the control rod, which only limits lift on acceleration. What needs to be done is more force needs to be taken up with center of track. On the mono there is no adjustment for this. Bobb has lowered the front arm of the mono on his with positive results. Lowering the front shocks helps too.(search Bobb thread) last hole on limiter strap helps a bit too.

Yes, Having to mod the chassis to make this work is not for everyone. You have to work with what you have and the control rod will need to be adjusted. Also, lowering it is only going to do so much.
