Vector nut glad to help. I do not know how to post the hyper link to the thread but it is several pages long and really makes sense when done. A few guys did the lock tite mod and reported success with now quiet clutches

Hi Yamadoo,
Just open up the link you want and right click on the link at the top where it says http:/www.ty4stroke..........etc it will highlight and you will get a drop down box and then click "copy" and come back to this thread and paste it in your post by right clicking again and click "paste" on the drop down menu.

Did you ever get the issue resolved for smoother clutch engagement?CaptCaper said:Definitely more rattle, noise then my Attak. Not as smooth on take off. Makes me wonder why they set it up that way.
thanks,

Try a comfort clutch kit from schmidt bros ,, new size rollers and new spring lowers engagement alot , easier on gas , more torque because you are in the right rpm range

I am going to be stocking primary springs to lower engagement. I installed one last season and everyone that rode my sled commented on how easy and predictable the sled engaged. The improvement is fantastic. The spring will be first thing I do to every sled I ride. Sell price will be around $30
