Where should I put the tool bag? The intercooler is taking its old space.

Strapped it onto the tunnel for now but I do want another place for it.

You might consider using one of the early 2007 hard plastic tool cases that were bolted on top of the tunnel. It might hold up better than the bag out there. G.B.

Wow that is a cool sled! What kind of intercooler is that?
Thanks! Yeah it's the perfect sled for me. Cheap, reliable, fast enough and fun as hell.

It's a MCX intercooler. Actually the whole kit is/were MCX. Bought the kit used and changed it a lot, though I had a some ideas of how to reduce turbo lag.
Tried to make it a bit more stealth (and quiet) to, the police around here have started to look for modified snowmobiles...

Ended up with placing it like this.

Did put a modified hand varmer in the handlebar bag. Perfect for keeping goggles, cellular and cap varm and dry.

I personally use a tunnel bag for everything, just made my own tunnel rack and bungie it on.

Tried that. It burned.
Angled tip? made all the difference on mine. my "tunnel bag" is a heavy duty backpack with a leather bottom that faces the exhaust. With the angled tip on my Ultra Q not much heat makes it too the bag, or twin 1 gallon cans if I strap those on. My tunnel rack is nothing more than some 1x1 .125 aluminum angle riveted to each side of the tunnel with 1/2" holes drilled in it.
