I have just recently purchased a RX-1ER and I live in an extreamely Rural area in Alaska. The closest Yam Dealer is over 400 air mies from me. So I am on my own for servicing and repairing my sled. I have already had a few problems that not having the tools hindered me.

Of course there are many tools I would like to have anyway but what tools should I have on hand, and I already found out the tools with the machine aren't worth much.

Thanks.

Snap ring pliers, adjustable wrench, spanner is nice, asst. of metric hex or allen wrenches, #3 Phillips, asst. of metric sockets - I carry the following with me at all times:

1/4" & 3/8" drive
12mm deep well socket (limiter straps)
10 mm comb.
14mm comb. and 14mm socket (FRA)
Ohlins Spanner (springs)
Adjustable wrenches (Control rods)

Your MOST important tool will be a BIG #3 phillips screwdriver. Just about all the plastic on the sled is held on with these screws, and there is not a lot of service / repair that can be done without removing a few of them.
