top speed for xtx

I hit 104mph on the speedo on a snow covered road today (still breaking her in)

defantly has more in her......I'm very please the first Run at about 8 miles only got 88 mph....then at 30 miles got 92mph....then at 65miles got 98mph, then 80miles got 104mph..... its getting nice and lose.... plus i'm studded!!!!

For what its worth, under ideal conditions, ice road with about a quarter inch of snow dust i saw 109 mph on my SE.....did not check it with my GPS just the dream meter.....

great so since Yamaha says the XTX is 1.5mph faster I should see 110mph

An xtx is suppose to be faster than se ???? I would think a short track would be faster.....Hmmmmm

80 miles on se stock other than 96 studs, have only seen 93 on speedo after 1/4 mile strait hard packed road any mods to your sled and how many miles on it? i have excell system just havent had time to install yet.

No way no how will a 144 sled have the same or better top end as a 121 in same sleds with similar gearing. it is phsysically impossible.

Is the XTX geared the same as the shorty's? I thought some one said the clutching was different. I suppose you could chauk it up to the different suspensions. Didn't many say that the M10 killed there top end?

Yamaha changed nothing on the shorties from 08 to 09 so what if they say 08 or 09, same sled!!

so explain what makes the xtx faster? the tiped up rail past the 121 poit or the extra wieght of the longer track just bustin on u, but would like to know
