top speed of 96 mph

no it's not but the kit I added only adds to the low and mid range torque. I'd have to change the gears(which are stock) to get more top end out of it. The conditions tonight were perfect. Had wet snow this morning then it got cold to make for a hard paked trail on the river.

92 mph on the meter with a tad more left. Stock GT with the big windshield. Fun, fast sled.

FX does 74.7mph consistently on GPS. Checked it seven times for one mile on lake. Speedo toggles between 136 and 138 kph (86mph). Speedo is retarded. GT should be a bit quicker with its gearing and Mountain a bit slower.

The gt does not have higher topspeed than the fx. Engine is not strong enough to pull out the higher gearing on the gt.

At times yesterday going across some deep fields, I could barely make 100 km/hr on the dream meter. I think I am going to give Yamaha a year to work the bugs out of the Nytro and then move up. Just too slow to keep up with a Crossfire 600 and even an old formula Z.

78 m.p.h. on radar so far phazer fx, has anyone hit 100 m.p.h. on radar with there phazer

You will ofcourse need a turbo to hit 100 mph, I will try soon with my GPS ;)! I have the GT gearing.

My Mtn Lite hit 80 for the first time this last trip. It hit 79 than 80 back to 79 than 80. That was on a flat packed trail. Totally pinned throttle with no more. 800 miles not, with 375 miles it did 73. Now it is broken in and I for sure notice a crisper throtle responce and pulls very hard with mountain gearing and mountain track.
