Anyone going to the show this year? I was thinking I would go down for the week end.

October 19-21

- Saturday for me.

kind of thinking about not going this year? Don't really need anything, but that usually doesn't stop me.

What are you looking to pick up John?

Is the show worth the trip down to Toronto? I've never been to the show before.

- It really depends on what you're thinking it's going to be.

- Royal Distributing has a big display and have great sales if you need stuff.
- All the clubs are there, and you can meet and talk to various folk if you're planning a trip.
- There's destination info as well.

- All the new sleds are on display too.
- There's also the custom and vintage sleds.

- It's just a good start to the season, and a great time to "get in the mood".

- Coming from Ottawa for the weekend "may be worth it", but you can always do other things in TO that weekend too.

I'm going and have for the last few years. It depends on what you are looking for, Yamaha apparel is very difficult to buy at the show (can't even find a hat usually) but the Royal Distributing booth and a lot of the other vendors offer good deals. The outdoor stunt show is pretty impressive.

- x2 on that!!
- Yamaha stuff is pretty well non existent!!

I agree with Monte, it all depends on what you want to see, buy, do etc.

I went for years back in the day but quit going as I found the show the same old same old, plus each show began to have less and less to offer I found. My buds all thought the same so we started hitting smaller shows, or none at all after a while.

Last year I went to the T.O. show mainly because I had a couple of buds who were newb's to the sport so I said I would go.
It wasn't bad, but still lacked the pizzaz that I seen/experienced in the past.

This year I am 50/50 and all will depend on if I have time, who wants to go etc etc, but right now I am thinking the only show I will be attending is the Peterborough show they hold every year at the Morrow Centre, that one I like best as it seems to have more to offer and better bargains. JMO

Thanks guys, I'll probably end up going, I got some points for hotels and I've never been before so might as well kick off the season with a snowmobile show lol.

I met a Yamaha dealer at the booth who used to be a vendor (Hully Gully maybe?) and he said that he could no longer afford to have his own booth partly because of theft. That's why it's like going through Customs at the Royal Distributing booth. One nice thing about the show is that some of the vendors, like Woody's, will give away free t-shirts with minimum purchases. Yamahas let me know when you plan to be there, maybe we can grab a barley sandwich!

have fun guys. as i hunt, i never go as i am usually in a swamp looking for something to shoot or fishing at an animal crossing. 3rd weekend of moose season.
