Track Cutting Service ... Any Interest?

Here's another way to do it with a table saw. Hope the link still works. I found this in a search several months ago, and the post is somewhat old, but some good ideas are used and the pictures help a lot to understand the process as well.;)!

Just put a 2x4 on each side, cut to fit. Screw some laminate flooring onto the flat surface so it can slide on the tablesaw's surface. This is my idea and it worked really well and was very easy to do.

Hey ruckus... when cutting the 1/2" or soo off the side.. how many of the cross ribs were showing after the cut? and how well did the side of the track hold up from fraying?? Only reason i ask is i've had tracks start to rip and eventually come apart from an exposed crossrib.!

They were all showing. I ran it for 2500km or so without any issues. Some say to brush some urethane on the exposed ends.
