I went to my local dealer to get some pricing on some parts. I told the "new" service manager that I would like to make my Phazer a little more off-trail compatible and am thinking of extending the track to 136". He told me that the little motor in the sled is too small and would have problems driving a track that big. I told him that Yamaha makes the Phazer MTX with a 144" track with 2" paddles. He didn't say anything. I don't know if I want this guy working on my sled.

I had a really good relationship with the previous tech and he knew his stuff. Not getting the warm and fuzzies with the new guy.

Ha. He'd have a hard time figuring out how I managed to squeeze a 121" x 12.5" x 1.35" track in a 20 year old 125 cc Sno Sport and it can still do 45 km/ h .... Maybe he shoul pull up some of the product catelogues for the last few seasons to get familiar with the product line .....

it's alla abaout clutching ;)

maybe he was overthinking it and really meant that you wont get it perfect unless you change more things :)

Look at it like a teacher should.I bet if you keep the teaching one on one and dont embarrass the guy you will make a good ,knowledgeable friend and that is a really great thing to have in a dealership.

I've been a customer at Wildwood Motorsports since the 80's and always had good service.

That's where I've always taken mine. But there is a new guy wrenching there.

X2
I've known Aaron Excell for over 20 years now, since we were in local neighboring high schools- still the same guy he was just smarter doing his own things instead of turning wrenches for someone else. ;)!

His dealership has done me no wrong since switching to Yamaha 2 years ago- Finally went blue after many years of green, LMAO

The raceway is on this weekend!

If your referring to Dustin I would have to agree he was super help full and accomidating. I already miss him ... Lol.
I get no warm fuzzy's from WSL, may have to start looking outside the city for some real service. :exc:
