Im on the fence on track...would a 1.77 composit track ruin my 129 machine? ..... i kinda like the composit 2 ply toughness to counter our rocky and rough area. Is 1.77 to much for this engine on stock gearing? Will it be to big for trails? i dont trail ride hard i cruise and love to play off trail when i can....just this 1.25 stock track is awful...everywhere. Im thinking a pipe and pc5 or tune as well to go with airbox mod...may also reclutch if need be. Just tracks are so expensive here that its hard to just pick one so feedback would be great...thanks guys.

If I were to do it all over again, I'd get what I already have, the 1.6 ice cobra, excellent trail manners, really good off trail and those tiny studs provide just the right amount of traction to get off those icy spot's, 3300 miles and still looks new.

Hey, just recently saw this company advertising on a website. I know our dollar isn't great, and they aren't camso tracks, but they're a lot cheaper... curious to know what you end up with!

I cant find the link now, but I wouldn't put one of those composit tracks on my sled. Woodys (or one of the other stud companies) tested these tracks out. Apparently they are slower than a comparable camso track, and they are not as well balanced. They seem to be durable, but they are also a heavier track.

they arent to much heavier, from most the google searches i havent seen any bad reviews...even snogoer, snowtrax said they were good. I chewed up the factory track pretty good maybe tougher is the way for me

I have the 1.7 sno-x and I like it. Its very stiff and has good acceleration, If i do not make this sled into a 141 then i will be putting the backcountry 2 on with the 2" lug. I have ran the 1.75 version on the old srx and my Dad has it on his CFR we both liked it alot.

more i think about it the less i feel i need 1.75....i ride a lot of trail and we hardly get enough snow i think for it...a good 1.5-1.6 is enough

Mmm still cant narrow it down, what will the power/mpg loss be between the 1.5 and 1.75? Will a 1.75 fit with stock drivers on a 129? Will i have enough power with stock gearing...i do have my lighter clutch weights from the recall cat did on my primary being to light which i would assume would help. Im just thinking the 1.77 composit is actually cheaper then the 1.5 so perhaps just get it and not have to worry off trail at all.
Such a hard decision when its almost 1000$ cnd for a track
