Muffler, airbox mod and track plus revalve has made what i thought was an awesome sled just so much better. So thank you guys for everything without the shared knowledge here it wouldnt have been possible
Was scared with the 1.77 track would kill the power, however with a new gates carbon belt, ulmer muffler and airbox mod im bumping the rev limiter the odd time when i get track and front end lift....clutch is 100% stock and it pulls the skis up a foot all the time below 70km/hr.
It feels so strong and the track hooks up so good im in love.....and the ulmer quite can sounds unreal.......I feel this year will be awesome and maybe to further my love a turbo may be in the works for next year lol
Thanks again guys

Thats why i posted, seems like there are so many complaints on build quality etc and its just nice to hear some of us love them....Tore this down 7200kms and was very surprised how good everything was and ive never had a single trail side issue at all.Isn't it something what a good ride does? Yes sir i got a few buddies that will likely be sending shocks your way for some quality work and revalves.....its so nice, better transfer and just all around WAY better. Thanks again sir

Thank You. I know the customs really killed pricing but was hoping you would find it worth it anyway. Thanks man, you know never been into orange but it was white or orange and im to ocd for white even as beautiful as it is lol

ah gotta play to pay...got soaked on customs on the ulmer can too...but omg it sounds so good i dont care lol....and the ride is so much better it pays to pay for keeping your back in on pieceThank You. I know the customs really killed pricing but was hoping you would find it worth it anyway.
Yah i had a white polaris and its so nice clean, but our trails are usually dirty and i would go crazy trying to keep it nice lol@savageman69 Good call on the orange, i've had my new sled in red and white for 3 weeks now and i've already washed it 3 times...

Thanks, its a D&D racing cap...i recently sold my cat atv and it was on it and figured id toss it on here instead, i seem to nearly lose the black stock one every fill up it blended in to well lol. However i dont think D&D makes them any more but tricked toys has one similarNice looking sled, love the orange. I was wondering what kind of gas cap is that?

Your title says "Thank you guys for helping love my Viper more" well colours of your sled say it's a Cat.
I have been riding Yamaha since 1973 so probably longer than a lot of people on here have been riding or"breathing".
So I think you should have said "Thank you for helping me love my Yamacat or Cataha more".
I personal am very glad to see you have no problem coming to Totallyamaha for information on your sled.
I have looked at Arctic Chat on more than one occasion but they need some help organizing their site "maybe Mr Sled" could help them out.
Sorry for rambling, my point being I am glad you are accepting of Yamaha influence (engine) in your Cat, as I am accepting and (loving) the "Cat chassis" in my Viper.
If this is the future for both companies I'm good with that.
It beats the hell out of option 2 One or both of the two (of most innovative companies in the business) not being there any more.

I really didnt see the need to call it anything other then what it is...its a cat viper...yamaha 7000 whatever aside from clutches, stickers and a few body panel differences its the same. I really didn't think it would be an issue.Your title says "Thank you guys for helping love my Viper more" well colours of your sled say it's a Cat.

Im also on the cat site and have been for 10 years (atv wise)...when cat launched the 2012 procross in white/orange i wanted it...was my dream sled, but i held out year after year because i wasn't a fan of the sound of the 1100t or the belt eating ways it once had in the first few model years...fast forward to 2014 and the collaboration happens and i knew that was the sled i wanted..always loved the sound of yamaha 4 strokes but felt the chassis weren't good looking and pretty heavy.
So i set out to test them on the demo days...drove a bunch including cat turbo (didnt like the stock lag) yamaha and the cat 7000....Soon as i drove the 7000 and viper i knew i wanted it...given that yamaha was more then a couple grand more here and i liked how the cat roller secondary was smoother i choose cat.
I like yamaha always have....i like cat too.......i see no reason i cant just call it a viper, and i dont see why it should be even a thought as to why im here.

Like you I hope some of the "purists" in both camps (Cat and Yamaha) come to realize that this is is not bad thing for all of us, the snowmobiling world in general.
