What happened to the 12 page track howl troubleshooting post ? I can not find it anywhere. Maybe Yamaha deleted since they still say there is no problem and track noise is normal.

Any chance we can get the Track Howl post moved back to the main page? Anyone else? I think it is a very popular discussion and it kind of gets "lost" in the suspension area.

I agree totally. That thread has over 6200 reads. That thread has to do with the problem and attempts to fix the problem. As far as taking it to the dealer, I and many others have done that. Yamaha will not admit there is a problem. It appears we are on our own with this.
Maybe it was moved cause it got to big and all big threads are for positive issues only.

Please move it back so people can find it.

Talked to my dealer today about the track howling problem and he told me that he had about 8 or 9 complaints about this noise. He said that they contacted Yamaha Rep. we'll see what happens. I'm sure glad i got rid of my vector.

My point wasn't that it was hard to find on the site,if you know where to look. It was under the RS general area I thought because no one knew where the cause of the noise was.I was just trying to keep all info in the same area as I'm sure the concern of the noise will come up again. But hey, I dont run the site so I guess I will deal with it.

While it was under the RS Forum, many members that rode RX models and future Attak/Apex riders chimed in too. So it made sense to move the thread to the Suspension Forum which applies to all models.
There are lots of great threads on the site and a little organisation is required to keep things where people can find them.
