TRACK HOWL

This season I'm running a 9837H144 track with 144 Gold Diggers, 04 RX-1 wheels and a 4th wheel kit and my track is very quiet.

I find the engine a little on the loud side, but I can't even hear the track.

did you have track noise before you changed tracks? Is that also known as the 'predetor ' design track?

Not on this sled. Yes. Predator 6-pitch.

Compared back to back with a Ripsaw with 144 Gold Diggers, the Ripsaw does provide a noticeable increase in traction, especially cornering grip.

The trails at the time were fairly loose. A fairly hard base under about 2" of fine, softer, granular snow.

That is the dilemma, I like the traction of the ripsaw but the noise is frustrating. I also would be dissapointed if I changed tracks to get rid of the noise only to have it return. That is why I am holding off on the quiet track until I get some feedback as it is a ripsaw design.

I have the quiet track ripsaw.Stock it had track howl.No howl since i put the 136" crossfire track on it.

Where do you live, your more than welcome to try my sled. And see for yourself.
