I have 7500 miles on my original finger track on my 03 about half a dozen lugs are gone and quite a few more are ripped and don't look like they will last through this season so i'm going to replace it just curious what everyone else is seeing for a life expectancy on tracks. Thinking about going to the ice ripper suggestions and or comments welcome.

6000 on my ripsaw still looks newish. Some wear on the corners of the lugs but no rips or tears.

The track I'm looking at if I have to replace is the ripper I belive. The one with the studs built into the lugs. Not as good as a studed track but less weight and good performance on ice.

I have close to 6000 miles on my pre-punched Ripsaw, 9955H144 with 144 1.325" gold diggers. It looks like it's in perfect condition, except when you examine it very closely there are two lugs where the cords are starting to go. It's probably got some decent life left, but...

This season running a pre-punched 1" Predator 6-pitch - a 9837H144 with 144 1.075" gold diggers. From my research and talking with Camoplast, the 9837H144 sounds like the most durable track available that still performs well.

I liked the performance of the ripsaw, but always found it a little noisy plus I'd like to get more mileage out of my next track.

My father-in-law had a stock track on a 99' SRX700 with 192 studs with over 20,000 miles on it. No lugs missing and only 1 stud had pulled through. How's that for track life?

4600 miles on my stock Ripsaw on my Apex. It still looks like it is in excellent condition. I am picking up a spare track at Novi though just in case.

The word "Impressive" comes to mind : )

7,000 miles on my ripsaw. Some signs of wear torn lugs but still in good shape. I'm sure it will last 10,000 miles.

You don't have mileage low enough for my Mtn sled. I have 2400 on the stock Challenger and 840 on my 162" Challenger. Both look like new still. That goes to say something for living in Montana I guess.

Track life is variable, and I think in my history my throttle thumb and poor judgement were a more powerful variable than I care to admit. OK I will also say good snow = good track, rocks, ice, stumps NOT = good track. :o|

When I was younger and had 115-120 hp sled I was always trying to 'prove' my sled was quick, Tore up two tracks fast - blamed it on yokohama. Now I am older and the last two sleds were 150 + hp, no need to prove anything - these sleds are fast, I tend to be much less agressive in bad conditions. THose tracks look great, one polaris 1 inch camo with 192 - 5000 miles, and a ripsaw with 2 thousand now studded with 144- and both look great.

Never had any luck with Yokahama tracks.

Stock Yoko lasted me 13 000kms roughly, and only replaced as I seen one fiberglass rod sticking out and a lug was ripped off, and a few other nics.

The new ripsaw im not sure will last that long.., already ripped lugs and one stud pullthrough.

got 4000mi on the stock track it ripped after a awsome jump. put a 1.25 ripsaw on and have 1000mi on it. Would never go back to the stock track again ripsaw is a way better track.

not to hijack your thread but what size is everyone putting on , I was going to take the finger track off and put on a ripsaw, but I still want studs

My brother has 4300 miles on his ripsaw..

One torn out lug (in the middle so no big deal)

several torn or missing lugs, and chunks missing from center of track where the shock eye keeps hitting it..

I figure it will last another year or two..
