I have a 2010 vector LTX GT with Yamaha mountain skiis and Studboy 4.5 Deuce bars. Everything else is stock. Changing the skiis and runners has made a huge difference in handling and floatation.

I want to upgrade my track, I ride a mix of trails, lakes, meadows , ditches, fields and some steeper hills. I find when i get into deeper snow the track spins like crazy and I sink. The sled has the stock 1.25 ripsaw which is great for hardpack and trails, but it sucks in deeper snow and it is almost impossible to get around.

I am looking at camoplast 1.5" intense. I have decided against looking at the 1.5 ripsaw because I think this design is meant for trails.

Does anyone have any experience with the intense. I need much better deep snow performance.

No experience with the Intense, but I am running a 144x1.5 Crossover on my Attak. No probelms with hifax wear and WAY better at everything than the Ripsaw 136x1.25 and Predator 136x1.25 I had on it before. Don't think you can go wrong changing out your Ripsaw. Sounds like we do the same kind of rideing ;)!
