Trail riding sidewinder vs viper

don't know what happened there....anyway....Both shock packages perform very well, ride quality is smooth. Stutter bumps are non existent, 1 footers are handled with ease but over that the QS3r's will out perform the QS3's. With all that said it comes down to what you are looking to do with this sled. I purchased the Viper for my son and it's the perfect sled for a younger rider to learn on. Buts its also a great back up sled as well.

Purchasing another viper or possibly a sidewinder. For those who had both, besides power is there many differences between the 2 as far as weight, handling, etc for trail riding.

Sidewinder is much smoother and more refined than a viper. Feels much more like a japan built sled than the viper.

Sidewinder is heavier in the nose than the viper so it naturally will have harder steering than a viper. I noticed you you were fighting hard steering on your viper so it’s something to keep in mind with sidewinder. The MPS kit is perfect solution to hard steering. It truly is a night and day difference.

The MPS kit is on my list for whatever viper the wife gets, wether it’s mine or a different one. And if we like it, we’ll have to get another kit. I am leaning towards another viper cause I’m not a lake runner and the vipers power from corner to corner is plenty. Just wish it had a little more for some of the open riding

But you have to realize that your talking about a naturally aspirated sled vs a turbo sled obviously the power difference is huge so you have to give the viper some slack!
