Nate; One of my biker buddies sent me that pic and I can't remember who it was or find the picture anymore. It was made out of a crashed 1200 Sporty and believe it or not, it actually worked! It was a old 4 speed Evo engined wreck that wasn't any good for anything more than a novelty piece, but looks kind of cool.

I'm pretty disappointed the stock tank cover can't be used with the trail tank. It shouldn't take that much effort to design it for stock appearance. Should have know it's not a Yamaha OEM fit and finish!

All the trail tank installs I have seen here certainly look pretty good and atleast close to OEM fit and Finish....

I'm not disappointed with the trail tank at all. They did a good job adding a few extra gallons with the space available. My disappointment is that Yamaha designed the Nytro with a small tank and gave no option to upgrade if needed. I'd rather run the stock tank but it just doesn't give me enough range. I wasn't happy spending the money but the trail tank is the best option.
The trail tank install looks Stock if done right!
